Kinetic typography - Music Video

For my portfolio Development module, I was tasked with making two high-quality media products, one being a short media form and the other being longer. First, for the short media, I made 3 posters representing a song of my choice and then I decided to make a lyric video for part 2 of the assignment. The song is called Ain't It Fun by Paramore. It's about living in the real world and sarcastically says " Ain't it fun living in the real world. So I decided to take that lyric to an extreme and to show an animated character living in a game because they so badly don't want to live in the real world. Animation made using  After Effects. Assets made using / Adobe Illustrator.

character actions and lip sync

For this project, I made an instructions intro for the popular game Crash Bandicoot using what I learned in the module Applied Animation. I designed  a character that I thought would suit the game Crash Bandicoot and included things that I learned including a walk cycle and lip-syncing. Animation made using  After Effects. Assets made using / Adobe Illustrator.

Mental Health facts and myths

I made this Animation as an entry for a competition for the Creative Conscience Awards which aims to inspire designers to apply their talents to socially valuable projects, promoting sustainability, freedom, social health, and well-being. I decided to make an animation talking about various mental health facts and myths and to enter into the section on well-being. I felt that this is an important topic to advocate for people with mental health disorders. Animation made using  After Effects. Assets made using / Adobe Illustrator.
