For my Final Year Project in MTU Cork, I am making an animation on the the topic of mental health. There are 2 versions of the animation. One version is in the form of a flipbook and the other version is played through speakers when interacted with in a particular way (by placing the flipbook which has an rdif tag embedded in it onto a surface that has an RFIDÂ reader on it.) The first gives a stigmatic view on the main character who has a mental health disorder. The second voice is from the main character giving their view from the other / Flipside. The point of the project is to raise awareness around mental health and to lessen the stigma surrounding mental health.
