Personal Logo

I made a logo representing myself. I decided to go for a minimalist approach. I used my initials in the logo with the B being tilted and the w being in the negative space of the b letter. I was inspired by the FED EX logo which cleverly using negative space to represent the brand. In the case of FED EX there is an arrow in the negative space between the capital E and x representing movement as they are a delivery company.

lost logo -

I was tasked with making a logo that represents the word lost. I originally thought of footprints for all of the letters but found that having just the capital O made of footprints going in a circle represented it much better and directly.

I was tasked with making a logo to represent the word "Combat". I decided to use barbed wire to represent combat because it was famously used in wars as a trap on enemy soldiers

A logo to represent Isolation with the dot in the lowercase i in Isolation being separated and isolated from the rest of the word.

Use of ideogram to represent the words clown and poser. An ideogram is a symbol that represents an idea or concept. I used a red nose to represent a clown. I used a person pointing to themselves as a show-off to represent a poser.

Mock up Brochure for the Crawford art gallery in Cork City.

I made a logo for the word army represented by using camouflage to make the letters.

I made a logo for the word focus using a camera focus symbol as the letter O.

I made a logo for the word Married using the two round parts of the letters R to look like two wedding rings and also showing the letters joined together to represent a couple being together for life

For this assignment, I was tasked with making a book cover on the theme of an emotion and a city. I decided to choose the emotion of happiness and the city of Madrid. I used the colours Orange and yellow to represent happiness and fun. I had the people dancing on the tables to represent happiness. Spain also suits the theme as it's known as a place of fun with great nightlife.

editorial illustration - singer Hayley Williams as a trailblazer in music

For This project, I was tasked with making my own editorial illustration based on an already-made article online. So I chose an article about how Female rock singer Hayley Williams from the popular rock band Paramore won the Trailblazer award in the Women in Music Billboard awards in America. This award goes to artists who are unique and paved the way for current and future artists. to make an illustration to represent being a trailblazer in the music scene I decided to base it on the concept of the evolution of man. So I based it on the typical picture representing the evolution of humanity except my image is to show the evolution of music. I used artists for each stage of evolution and kept the same body postures of the Evolution of man. Artists represented in the image starting from right to left include Elton John, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, Eminem and Hayley Williams.

I made this for a project where I was tasked with making my own Magazine cover and inside pages. I named it Resonance. Resonance To resonate means to have a significant emotional effect on someone. I felt this was a good name as many people listen to Music because of the emotional effect it has on them. To represent the word resonance visually I used the other definition of the word. Another definition of resonance is the following. Resonance occurs when an object or system vibrates with greater intensity because it's exposed to external vibrations that match its own natural frequency. I made the letters "n" "a" and "n" joined together to look like a resonance frequency going up and down.
